Removable Aerogel Insulation Jacket
- Product Description
The removable aerogel insulation jacket adopts high‑performance aerogel glass fiber felt as the thermal insulation core material. The core is fully sealed and wrapped with PA aluminum foil, which effectively prevents aerogel powder‑falling and dust leakage, blocks water‑vapor penetration and builds an enhanced thermal‑barrier layer. High‑strength fire‑resistant silicone cloth is selected for the outer protective layer and structural frame. All joints are stitched with high‑temperature‑resistant flame‑retardant aramid‑steel wire thread. Custom high‑temperature‑resistant fire‑proof hook‑and‑loop fasteners are applied for detachable connections to form an integral removable assembled structure.
2. Product Features
2.1 Insulation Core Layer
The aerogel core achieves a thermal conductivity as low as 0.016 W/(m·K) at ambient temperature. Its operating temperature ranges from ‑200℃ to 600℃ with A1‑class non‑combustible performance. The complete insulation jacket delivers outstanding comprehensive performance including superior thermal insulation, fire resistance and anti‑aging durability.
2.2 Encapsulation Layer
The outer layer is made of fire‑resistant silicone cloth. The side edges are sealed with reinforced aluminum‑foil tape. Detachable joints are bonded by high‑temperature‑resistant fire‑proof hook‑and‑loop fasteners. These fasteners feature excellent high‑temperature and anti‑aging performance; they will not support combustion or release toxic flue gas under high‑temperature conditions.
Full‑perimeter sealing eliminates aerogel powder leakage. The material also exhibits hydrophobic and anti‑corrosion properties, resisting damage from humidity, mold and chemical media to extend service life.
2.3 Stitching & Edge‑sealing Craft
Aramid‑steel wire flame‑retardant sewing thread is used for stitching. Aramid fiber withstands temperatures up to 500℃, while the steel wire tolerates up to 800℃. The thread features high tensile strength and anti‑aging property; it will not stretch or fracture under long‑term high‑temperature service.
Double‑stitched widened edge treatment greatly improves structural strength and prevents deformation caused by long‑term load.
There is no need to remove the whole jacket for maintenance: partial hook‑and‑loop sections can be opened for local inspection and repair. When not in use, the product can be fully unfolded and stacked, greatly reducing packaging and transportation volume.
2.4 Custom‑built & Easy Installation
Custom fabrication is available according to actual equipment dimensions. The soft material allows fast on‑site assembly simply by fastening hook‑and‑loop fasteners without special tools. Cutting and on‑site installation are convenient.
